Preparing our crop of pomegranates

First, we cut the fruit open to see if it is ripe enough (bright reddish pink seeds).
Then, Brandon and Tyler deseeded the fruit and threw the husks away.

Next, all unripened, undeveloped or rotten seeds are thrown out.

After that, the seeds are put in the juicer to be strained for juice.

The pulp is run through again to get the max amount of juice.
Then, we freeze the juice for healthy smoothies!!

What a mess!
