Expensive week

Well, they always seem to come in threes....the car a/c broke this week, the house a/c had a Freon leak and froze up, and the water heater corroded and needed to be replaced. Whew! Everything is fixed now, just in time for the hot weather to start! Don's baseball team is doing fantastic. Brandon just started baseball; his team is the Auburn Tigers. Opening day is today and his first game is on April 6. Watch for pictures from Don's birthday. The kids decorated the house for their daddy. He received several Cabela's gift cards and boy is he happy! He is saving them up to buy something big! Don's aid, Aubrey, took him out to Japan Express for lunch and student council made him a giant card. Even though he was at school late for a baseball game on his actual birthday, he has had a fun day today so far. Bill Hughes took him out to breakfast this morning and then tonight, Bill/Renee and Don and I are going to Black Angus. Tomorrow after church, we are having cake and ice cream. The budget cuts have wreaked some real havoc for our school district....we are on pins and needles waiting to see if Don will have to be transferred to another school to continue his program. They are consolidating programs....we will keep you updated, but we are very anxious and nervous hoping that he will not have to move schools.
