Well, the school district had a big charity project this year. Instead of Relay for Life, the district decided on helping food banks. The schools were to be at a "homeless shelter" all weekend in Washington High School's gym until 100,000 cans were raised. Our student council showed up in full force and were real troopers. Sleeping on the gym floor was NOT fun, but the kids did teambuilding and played games. In the process, the schools raised four truck loads of cans. I don't know the final count, but I would say it was a success. I am TIRED.
Brandon's first game is tomorrow; he is so excited. Tyler is rehearsing for the school play, and Brooke is getting ready for softball/basketball camps. Don's team is still playing well. One more session of conference to watch. Hope everyone is having a super weekend!
