Spring is here

It is beautiful in sunny Arizona. Here are some photos from spring break in California and in Arizona.

For our student council trip this year we had a tight schedule!!
2a.m. depart for LA
Arrive 7 a.m. in Anaheim where we eat at Denny's and IHOP and clean up a bit
Hang out at Disneyland until four

Check in Wyndham at Costa Mesa
Head back to Disneyland at six
Head back to hotel at midnight
Tape kids in their rooms and try to get some sleep (two a.m.)





Get up for bus ride to San Francisco at five (wake up students)
Arrive at Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf at two p.m.
Walk to Pier 33 for ferry ride to Alcatraz
4:30 p.m. ferry ride





Night tour of Alcatraz and special feature about escapes from Alcatraz


Arrive on Pier 39 at 7:30 p.m.

Crab legs on the wharf
Head back to hotel at 9:30 p.m. with souvenirs
Chaos from excited students: one noise complaint and some shattered glass....
Bed time ten thirty p.m. for students
Tape students and go to sleep around midnight
Up at seven a.m. for breakfast on the wharf
Shopping until 9:30 a.m.
Union Square and Market Street until noon
Head back to Phoenix.....arrive 3:30 a.m.
WHEW!!!

Wednesday, Jury Duty was cancelled so we put in raised beds in the garden
Spent time in the park playing catch with Grandpa Jim.




Saw Percy Jackson's The Lightening Thief.

Played Scattegories with the kids ( and pinochle)

Got caught up on grades, taxes, bills.....

No spring training game yet but the Dodger stadium is sweet.

New Moon came out today on dvd

Okay, I feel like I've caught you all up on the past couple weeks.

Life is wonderful!!! So is the weather
