they researched those machines where you can take a number and the number being served displays digitally on the wall......but it was out of their budget. So instead, they made me one out of wood and ceramic (for looks only, no tickets). It is very cute. They also made me a plaque to hang at home that reminds me to dream and to be loved. Additionally, they had a giant award/plaque made for me with a big gold hawk on it, everyone's name and position, a spot for our class picture from Duke, and some very kind words. This group is so thoughtful. Everything was handmade, just like I like it. They say there is one more surprise in store at the good bye circle on Wednesday. I need to finish their gifts. This year, they are all getting cd's with our songs from this year as well as a scrapbook holder with their name and a quote to hold all of their spotlight compliments.
