FIFTH annual swim party at Joie's

This was the fifth year! The kids and I bring lunch over to Joie's and then we spend the day swimming and playing in Joie's pool. This year was awesome because everyone could touch the bottom to play volleyball! Tyler has grown six inches this year. After five matches, we were ready for our annual treat: popcicles. Joie always buys several new varieties of popcicles for us to try. This year, we had gummi popcicles, fudgecicles, creamcicles, and grape popcicles. We always have the kind with jokes on the stick. What is a meteorologist's favorite type of music?

ROCK! What is the golf club's favorite drink?

TEA! What is the soda's favorite music?

POP! Doesn't that take you back to the days of Laffy Taffy jokes?

Anyway, we were lucky this year that Jillian, Jaryn and Jinny were there! The only one missing was sniff, sniff, Amy Lee Hall.

We always come home a little bit red, even though we coat the sunscreen on because we just have so much fun, we can't get out of the pool.
